World Work contributes to a just, thriving and sustainable human presence on the planet by mobilizing agilists who are uniquely skilled to make a massively positive impact.
As agilists, we are well positioned to support the world in solving the complex problems we face from a local community up to a global scale.
To make this real, World Work engages and equips WiA members who want to play bigger and create a legacy of a regenerative world for all living entities and future generations.
IMPACT
Start the Conversation

Simply starting the conversation about our many planetary challenges from climate catastrophe to rising inequality can be daunting. We can assist you in getting the conversation going.
Provide Connections

Many agilists are already activated and have created various initiatives, movements and programs to improve life on the planet. We connect Women in Agile with those efforts to strengthen us all.
Support New Initiatives

When we get a group of passionate and skilled women mobilized toward a sustainable future, new movements and initiatives are bound to be born! We support Women in Agile as they envision and create these new avenues of engagement.
PROGRAM:
Sustainability Incubator Programs
We aim to bring more hope through the actions that SIPs provide to our local communities. By fostering positive local impacts, we aim to contribute to a broader global transformation on Sustainability.
Our Approach uses a Design Sprint over a 2-3 month period with a collective team of WiA members, SIP team members, and a Sustainability Challenge for a Community or Non-Profit. The team will talk to Subject Matter Experts, Identify the Challenge to work on for the Sprint, Create a Prototype, Get User Feedback and Provide a Recommendation to Pivot, Persevere or Stop. At the end of the sprint, the community will have a prototype and amazing data to allow them to choose their next steps for their challenge.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE AND GET INVOLVED IN SIPs
We are a group of agilists and professionals, worldwide, all volunteers, gathered to use our skills and knowledge to build a sustainable world. “Sustainable development requires an integrated approach that considers environmental concerns, economic development, and social impact“ (UN, 2024). We believe that Agility is crucial in promoting a sustainable life, and that this cannot be done alone but in collaboration as a community (here is where you come in!)
If you want to volunteer for an SIP or have a Cause that you would like the SIP to tackle, please use the links below to provide us with information.
